Another handy EDC item turned up when I came across these bushcraft tins on Ebay which might come in quite handy for use inside an EDC tin. They are well made and have a sliding lid which clicks nicely into place when closed.  They are available in 10ml and 20ml sizes so I bought some of both to see if they come in useful.

I also bought some tiny 3mm dia x 1mm thick Neodymium magnets to use to hold them inside a larger tin if needed.  The magnets are surprisingly strong for their size and easily secure one of these smaller tins inside the lid of a larger tin to help separate the contents of your EDC kit.

Across the prepping sites and on Youtube, you will come across a lot of people using tobacco, altoid and other tins as their every day carry kit, mostly quite minimalist and compact but quite ingenious in their choice of contents and uses.  They are either just slipped into a pocket or people have made or acquired belt pouches to hold them and keep them easily accessible.
