A shower is something we all take for granted and I can see a number of scenarios where that luxury wouldn’t be available.  With that in mind, I’ve just added a Hozelock 4-in-1 PortaShower to my prepping gear.  It’s a compact portable shower which stands at 460mm high and comprises a pressure sprayer with an air safety valve.  A 2m hose connects it to the easy to control hand sprayer.  Hozelock claim a 3 minute spraying time which according to the reviews can be acheived with 30-40 pumps of the handle.

They are commonly used for washing dirty dogs if a number of the reviews are anything to go by, but I can see it being quite handy for us humans as well when a wipe-down clean isn’t going to be enough.  Put some warm water in it, heated by whatever means you have available and either use it hand held or tie it to a branch or bracket to stand under it.
